This workshop is designed for Deaf and Hearing interpreters who wish to interpret during times of crisis or disaster, particularly in areas severely affected by natural disasters, emergencies, or local crises. They need to be on TV before, during, and after these events to provide the deaf community with access to vital information in times of danger.
Hallenross & Associates, LLC, is an Approved RID CMP Sponsor for continuing education activities. This RID Professional Studies program offers 0.2 CEUs at the SOME Content Knowledge level.
This webinar will be conducted entirely in American Sign Language (ASL). No Voice Interpretation will be provided.
Target audience: Deaf Interpreters, Hearing Interpreters, and Interpreter Interns.

Advanced Medical Interpreting - Four sessions
The Process: Are They Really Letting Me Do This Unsupervised? (4 hours)
The Science: Danger! Danger! Don't Get Any On Ya! (4 hours)
The Mechanics: Can I Buy A Vowel? (4 hours)
The Switcharoo: Things Just Got Complicated…. (4 hours)
You MUST attend all four sessions to be eligible for RID 1.6 CEUs. No partial CEUs will be awarded. This is an on-site Learning only. There will be no virtual instruction for remote participants.
Hallenross & Associates, LLC, is an Approved RID CMP Sponsor for continuing education activities. This RID Professional Studies program offers 1.6 CEUs at the Some Knowledge level. The workshop will be in English, and AQI Services will provide ASL Interpreters for Deaf participants.
Target audience: All levels of ASL interpreters, including CDIs/DIs and ITP Students
